Hayden Theater’s Drama-rama, an evening of food and entertainment, is happening Friday and Saturday, May 26 & 27 at 7:00pm in the Black Box Theater. A preview of next year’s productions and an encore of our fall production of “Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind” are scheduled along with a pizza buffet. Tickets are $15 and all proceeds go to pay for our trip to ThesFest 2017 in June. See Mr. Radziejeski if you need tickets.

 

"Catholeidoscope 2017, Hayden's literary and visual arts magazine, will be sent to the publisher on Wednesday, May 31. To insure an adequate number of magazines are published, pre-orders are appreciated. Cost is 10 dollars per magazine. Congrats to the following track athletes who qualified for state at regionals on Friday: Robbie Schmidt took 1st in the 1600 and 3200, Darian Hillebert took 2nd in the 100 and 200, Gabi Moore took 3rd in the triple jump, Kyra Bauer took 3rd in the long jump, and the girls 4x400 of Darian, Gabi, Kyra and Preston took 4th.

 

There will be a girl’s basketball meeting today immediately after school in the cafeteria.

 

Tomorrow is our Going Forth Liturgy. Mass dress is required.

Cameron placed 2nd in the 50 free and 3rd in the 100 free.  Natalia Espinosa placed 3rd in the 50 free, and was placed on all city 2nd team, and Annalisa Rodriguez also achieved all city 2nd team with a 4th and 5th place finish.

Thank you to everyone who participated in Operation Rice Bowl during Lent...our collective efforts at Hayden raised over $1339.00 for Catholic Relief Services...great job, Wildcats!

 

The Drama Club Banquet and Thespian Initiation will be held this evening at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. All students who participated in theater this year are welcome to attend. Installation of officers and new Thespians, along with senior recognition and the announcement of next year’s season, are part of the festivities.
