Transcript Requests

Hayden Catholic High School has joined forces with Parchment.com to bring you Secure Transcript TM - the safe, paperless way to send transcripts directly to the colleges you choose. It’s easy, it’s secure, and it’s available 24/7.

  • Your official transcript is sent to the colleges and scholarship funds you choose.
  • Parchment will e-mail you to confirm that the transcripts have gone out.
  • For the colleges that accept transcripts electronically, Parchment will even confirm when the colleges receive transcripts.

 

 

Parchment.com Instructions

To have transcripts sent simply follow the steps below.


1. Register

  • Go to www.parchment.com and click on the “Sign up” tab on the right side of the page
  • Follow the registration process by entering the required information. We suggest you “Opt out” of the optional services. Be warned that if you do decide to opt in your name will be sold to colleges, testing companies, and other entities that will solicit you.
  • You will then need to complete the registration process by clicking on a parchment link sent to the e-mail you registered with.
  • When you log back in, you can submit transcripts through the “My Transcripts” tab at the top of the page.
  • You will need to input your high school information the first time you send transcripts.
  • Do a name search for Hayden High School or Hayden Catholic High School.
  • The first registration page will ask you for enrollment status, year of graduation, and student ID#, be sure to fill out all three of these fields.
  • The next registration page asks for additional info, only Name, Date of Birth and Gender are required but you may provide more info if you like. When entering your name, enter your full, proper name as it would appear on your transcript or in school records. If you go by Jim but your name is James, register with James. If you have a hyphenated last name, like Harrison-Rose, use that if it appears that way on your transcript, report card, etc.
  • You will then electronically sign an authorization page for your transcript release
  • You’re done! You can now request transcripts through Parchment

2. Request a transcript

  • Go to www.parchment.com and click on the “Sign In” tab in the upper right hand corner to Sign in using the e-mail and password you registered with
  • Click on the My Transcripts section on the top of the page then click on “Deliver Current Transcript”
  • Search for your institution by name or state, click on the school to add it to your list of schools to send transcripts to (make sure and search by the proper college name, ex. University of Kansas, not "KU").
  • Once you have selected a school, check to make sure it is the correct institution. If you are sending the transcript to complete an initial application, leave the “Current Transcript” bubble checked. If you need/want to have mid-year grades sent, check the “Next Grading Period Transcript” bubble. This transcript will be sent as soon as first semester grades are posted.
  • At this point you can save and add another school to your request by following the same process, or save and continue to finish your request. Once you have completed all of your requests for this session, click “Save & Continue” to finish the process, including acceptance of the user agreement and payment (if applicable).
  • You will receive a series of three e-mails from Parchment; one confirming your request, one letting you know when it was sent to the college and a final one letting you know the college has received it (if it was sent electronically).
  • You may also request an 'unofficial transcript' to be kept in your account.


TRANSCRIPTS TO THE NCAA, SCHOLARSHIP ORGANIZATIONS, INT’L SCHOOLS, ETC.

  • Go to www.parchment.com and click on the “Sign In” tab in the upper right hand corner to Sign in using the e-mail and password you submitted when you registered.
  • Under “Select Destination” choose the destination you wish to have the transcript sent to, unless you are sending to the NCAA you will most likely click “Other”.
  • If you are requesting a transcript for the NCAA - once you click on the NCAA bubble you follow the same process as you do when sending to a college/university.
  • If you select “Other” you will be instructed to fill out information on where you want the transcript sent, including what type of organization it is going to, the name and address, etc. You can have this transcript sent electronically by PDF if the organization has that capability, check with them before choosing this option.
  • At this point you can save and add another request by following the same process, or save and continue to finish your request. Once you have completed all of your requests for this session, click “Save & Continue” to finish the order, including payment.
  • You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Parchment acknowledging your order and a follow-up contact when the transcript has been sent.
