Collegiate Athletes

Student Athletes who desire to play collegiate athletics at the NCAA or NAIA level need to be certified by the respective Eligibility Centers. You need to qualify academically and for the NCAA you will also need to be cleared as an amateur student-athlete.


Students may register at any time, but they recommend that you register during your sophomore year or at the beginning of your junior year.  The registration website is  The NCAA Eligibility Center will evaluate a student's academic credentials once the following information has been received, and the student has had his/her status requested by an NCAA member institution:

1) Completed online registration;
2) Fee Payment;
3) SAT and/or ACT test score on file from the respective testing agency; and
4) Transcript(s) from all schools or programs attended.

The NAIA Eligibility Center, at, is responsible for determining the NAIA eligibility of first-time student athletes. Every student interested in playing sports at NAIA colleges for the first time needs to register online with the NAIA Eligibility Center.
